So my youngest little brother calls me about a week ago and asks me for my address so he can send me something in the mail. I assume he wants to send me a birthday card for my upcoming birthday, so I give it to him. Then he calls me on Thursday to ask me if I got anything in the mail yet. I say no, I haven't seen anything. He says, "You're gonna
flip when you see it."
Ok!! So Friday night he calls me again, and I answer the phone with, "I didn't get anything in the mail today either!"
He says, "Well, I'm sure it's on it's way. But I have a question. Where is Sunset Middle School, home of the dolphins?"
"It's like a block from my house. Why?"
"Because that's where I am right now!!!" WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!
I went outside to see him drive right by my house!! I was so excited, I DID almost flip!!!
Here are some pics from our adventures this weekend:

These are called "The Tall Ships". I guess they come to Coos Bay every year for a little over a week |

Sheldie walking out on the jetty. I didn't go out quite that far. The waves were getting bigger and it was wet and slippery. And I can't swim. So I didn't want to fall in. :) But Sheldie is a sailor, so he's good!! :) |

Molly and Sheldie on our way back to Coos Bay after our adventures. |
We also went to Mingus Park (see previous posts!), and Sheldie found the skate park in town (of course), so we had to visit, even though he didn't have his skateboard. We saw The Avengers movie too, which is AWESOME! I've actually seen it twice now!! I saw it twice within 24 hours!! ha ha. Seriously. Go see it.
