Newport, OR

Today Jake and I took a day trip to Newport, OR.  We had lunch/dinner at a sweet Irish pub downtown near Nye Beach.  It was so good!

Then we found a trail down to Agate Beach to explore and I found this neat tree branch to almost hang off of.

This is the dock that washed up on Agate Beach in Newport, OR, from Japan!!!!!

Jake on the dock!!  It took about a year for this thing to float to the coast after the earthquake in Japan that happened last year.

Jake and I on the dock from Japan.  And no, I did not purposely style my hair this crazily.  It was SUPER windy outside. 

We found this starfish in a tide pool at Devil's Churn on the way back to Coos Bay!!


It was a really fun trip!!!  The next pic is from a couple of weeks ago, but it is one of my new favorites so I will share:
